Litter-Ally Caught in Action

What a sunny day it is today! The sun is shining the sun is bright and as usual it is so hot and we kinda regret stepping out of the class. It’s as if we have a choice right? We are the so called “litter-busters” and we need to catch some people littering in school. Fortunately for us, we found some person who can’t be named but he only wants to be known as "F.R.". Here is a video that we took earlier during our break time.

It is worth creating this blog for Republic Polytechnic, as it addresses an important issue, The ill effects of littering. It degrades the environment of the institution and invites unfavourable effects.

Challenges faced when writing this report?

Our group met with several challenges when writing this report. The most notable challenges we met was that we barely found any proof of “littering in action”.

Our Actions

Impacts of littering to the school:

• Cleaners will have hard time cleaning up.
• The “herd” effect will be established.
• Bad school reputation will be established.

Steps to take to prevent the issue:

• Put posters around the school
• Assign students to lookout for offenders
• Penalise students who litter
• Give students/staff who litter community service as punishment
